Founder & director

MARGA ROTTEVEEL is a curator, advisor and a project initiator in the field of photography. She studied photography at AKV|St. Joost in Breda (the Netherlands). She was the creative director of Photofestival Naarden. In 2010 she started her own independent business (Photorevolt). She lectures at AKV/St. Joost (Master and Bachelor Photography). Furthermore she works as a jury member and portfolio reviewer for several major photography events, is an advisor for photographers and municipals and a member of a number of committees in the field of Arts. She has curated many (inter)national shows. She guides many (young) photographers in their search for new paths to reach the audience on the right platform.

Founder & director

ANAÏS LÓPEZ studied photography at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague and AKV|St. Joost in Breda (the Netherlands). She combines working as a photographer for various magazines with making her own long term photo documentaries. Her work has been exhibited all over the world, from Paris to New York. Her projects have won and have been nominated for several awards, including the Dutch Doc Award. Her work has also appeared in numerous media, including nrc.next and HP/De Tijd.

Docking Helper

EVA MEIJER joined the team in May 2017. She studied photography at AKV|St. Joost in Breda (the Netherlands). She worked for Breda Photo and now is a producer at AKV|St. Joost. Docking Station turned out to be the perfect place to gain work experience in this field, because it is all about sharing and collaborating. 

Marga and Anaïs believe strongly in collaborations and sharing their network, expertise and ideas. Their aim is to connect, inspire, support and challenge visual storytellers into making great stories and getting those stories across to diverse audiences.
